This project focuses on assessing MMPs' functions during epithelial-mesenchymal transition and cell migration using Xenopus and Chicken embryos.

This project includes:

- Analysis of MMP14's functions during chick neural crest delamination/EMT (See Andrieu et al BioRXiv, 2018)

- Analysis of MMP14's functions during Xenopus neural crest migration

- Analysis of MMP14's functions in early chicken development and patterning

- Analysis of MMP28's functions in Xenopus early morphogenesis
